Our History

1984

MVP Search and Selection is established as an independent white-collar supply chain specialist recruitment business.

1997

MVP relocates its offices from Birmingham to Priory House, Worcestershire, where we remain to this date in a beautiful 17th century timber framed building.

1999

MVP becomes part of the Empresaria Group (EMG), an AIM-listed, highly profitable international recruitment group.

2006

The Logistics Network Ltd is formed through a consolidation of EMG's three main logistics businesses; MVP, Drivelink Network (later rebranded as TLP) and More Driving, brought together to create a unique brand partnership offering end to end recruitment solutions for clients and candidates in the permanent and temporary recruitment markets.

2007

Empresaria picks up the award for International Business of the Year at the Fast Growth Business Awards.

2008

Forward Prospects, a market leading freight specialist recruitment business established in 1982, is acquired by The Logistics Network Ltd and EMG..

2011

In May 2011 Ian Holford, Nick Hall-Palmer, Andy Hall and Graeme Doyle (all Directors/ Leaders within The Logistics Network) complete an MBO from EMG, changing the name and trading style to The Logistics Partnership LLP (Limited Liability Partnership).

2017

Graeme Doyle takes over executive responsibility for The Logistics Partnership Group. Ian Holford retains his place on the board of TLP and launches Orchard Joint Ventures, an investment business focussed on recruitment start-ups. Nick Hall-Palmer becomes CFO across both businesses and also serves on the main board for both.

2018

Forward Prospects, Drivelink Network and More Driving are merged together to become one brand, TLP Recruitment, simplifying the group structure and expanding the overall service offering. The MVP brand name is retained.

2019

MVP is re-branded and re-launched securing its place in the market as a premium white-collar supply chain recruitment business, now focusing exclusively on mid-senior level appointments and talent solutions.

2019

MVP diversifies into the specialist engineering sector.

2021

The Logistics Partnership appoints a new Head of Learning & Development to help develop our existing psychometric services into ongoing learning and development programmes both internally and for external clients across the MVP and TLP Recruitment brands.

2022

Our new website is launched.

Testimonials

Lisa Mulholland, XPO Logistics

“Zoe is one of the best recruiters I have worked with, who cares about getting the right candidate, not just a candidate. I wish you the best of luck in your new role as Head of Resourcing & Talent at MVP Recruitment Solutions. ”

Managing Director, Artex Ltd at Saint-Gobain

“A thoroughly professional and supportive team that invest time in understanding the goals of their clients at the front end of the search process and then carry that approach through to placing the right people in the best roles. ”

Frank Evans, International Logistics Manager

“I found myself increasingly dismayed at the way many recruiters were dealing with candidates during the lock-down and subsequent easing of restrictions. I therefore found Lisa to be a breath of fresh air among her peers, with regular updates and calls to discuss the ongoing process, and feedback from the client. Ultimately, this resulted in an offer that I was absolutely delighted to accept. I could not have done this without Lisa's advice, encouragement and overall management of the process. I would comprehensively recommend Lisa to any candidate or client - a thorough brief, a well-managed process, and a lovely person to boot. ”

Adam Whittaker, Solutions Manager

“I made contact after being highly recommended to do so by a friend and former colleague to assist in my role search, driven by a relocation back to the UK. From the outset it was clear and very reassuring to me that, despite the difficult state that the market finds itself currently in, would be able to identify high quality opportunities within an extensive network. ... A very professional, structured approach with a personal touch that couldn’t be matched by other parties I dealt with. Highly recommended. ”

Jason Moscrop, Operations Director, Howard Tenens Logistics

“Consummate professionals, perceptive to the needs of my business. Strengths are focused on building strong relationships with clients and then developing a clearly defined structured process that ensures that the requirements are met and delivered as a partnership. ”

Julia Von Massow, Senior Manager, KPMG

“Recruiting is a crucial process because only with the right people will you reach your goals.  Lisa is the perfect recruiter to find those right people - I have been working with her for a few years and have rarely come across anyone else with such high commitment and experience.  She understands what you are looking for in a person or a role.  I highly recommend her as recruiter. ”

Richard Duff, Managing Director, Global Infusion Group

“Lisa brought her wealth of experience to guide our role definition and then quickly presented a credible list of high calibre candidates who exceeded our expectations. From project start to finish, the communication was clear and informative, allowing us to make a well informed decision with confidence. Lisa was then on hand to comfort and support the candidate through the transition, leading to a very happy outcome. Overall, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa! ”

Kevin Davis, Head of Logistics, Marks & Spencer

“The placement that Lisa has made could not have been better aligned to my skills and experience. This shows Lisa has an incredible eye for matching candidates to the right roles.  Lisa was incredibly engaged throughout the entire process and she was truly passionate about learning the details of the specific skills that the candidate had to offer the business (and vice versa). I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough! ”

Greg McGivern, Supply Chain Director

“I have worked with Lisa for nearly 15 years both as a client and a candidate.    Aside from being a real pleasure to work with, Lisa is able to recognise quickly a client's requirements for a role and the culture fit. Lisa takes feedback very well, is pragmatic, and adapts during search & selection if needed.    The strong networks and industry experience Lisa utilise are real assets.  ”

Ian Baker, Operations Manager, Roomservice by CORT

“Can’t thank Lisa enough during our ‘journey’ regarding my successful job offer which concluded following an involved and thorough recruitment process by my employer. Lisa was so helpful and acted as a mentor during the weeks leading toward the interviews. Thank you again Lisa, very much appreciated.  ”
