This is an exciting & challenging position for a Warehouse Team Manager who will be pivotal to delivering the varied and time critical activities for a successful operation whilst creating a positive and service orientated culture.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
A good understanding of multi temperature warehouse procedures and complianceA good understanding of Health & Safety at Work and Food Safety ActProactively identify improvement opportunities and effectively apply any changes to warehouse process.HACCP/IOSHH trained an advantage, but not essential.Customer service focus.
The successful candidate will require previous supervisory management experience within a warehouse team environment. The role will be support the Warehouse Shift Managers with delivering operational KPIs to tight deadlines and to drive improvements by engaging the team in promoting a positive culture.
There is a need for flexibility as the successful candidate will be required to work on an alternating shift pattern of 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 on any ‘5 from 7’ basis. This will include regular weekend working.
