Based at this fast-moving distribution centre, stock Integrity plays a key role within the site ensuring that the right stock is in the right place at the right time to satisfy customer needs.
Key tasks include: - counting of stock in locations; - date code checking; - checking accuracy of assembled orders and - investigation of stock discrepancies.
If you have a high level of proficiency with computer systems and MS programmes (specifically, MS Excel and MS Word), a logical approach to problem solving and eye for detail, then you would enjoy what this role entails.
You will need to have a good level of communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
Essential Capabilities / Experience: - - An effective team worker - High level of PC literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word - Previous experience within all aspects of the Stock Integrity functions would be desirable - Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems - desirable
The successful candidate will be required to work the ‘double day shift’ hours of alternating early and late day shifts – one week working 06:00 hrs to 14.00 hrs and one week working 14.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs, five out of seven days per week, with flexibility to change hours in order to assist with covering other team members’ holiday and absence.
