This highly successful business, very focused on the development of its people, has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing & Supply Chain Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will play an instrumental part in delivering exceptional levels of service to this key national account, working closely with the supply and category teams and the customer.

 

This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the retail product range, including New Product Development through existing and new supplier channels. Working closely with the National Account Controller, ensuring robust day to day controls are in place for pricing accuracy, availability and stock management, in line with service level agreements as well as addressing key operational issues.

 

In addition, there is a requirement to work with the account administration team to perform administrative account support functions. The successful candidate will also need to work closely with supply chain, customer service and the logistics teams in respect of forecast demand, service availability, customer service excellence and logistic efficiency.

 

The ideal candidate will be required to take on full responsibility and ownership of the customer relationship, ensuring additional sales opportunities and maximising profit potential, in addition to providing a first class account management service to the customer portfolio.

 

Essential skills / competences for the ideal candidate are:

 

Detailed analytical evaluations and reviews will be required and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, SAP and PowerPoint is essential.Good numeracy skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, tenacity, the ability to communicate at different levels and through different mediums (internally and externally). The ideal candidate will also be self-motived to deliver continuous improvement, have experience within retail and / or supply chain, along with a sound understanding of Excel as a pre-requisite.

 

You will be contracted to work 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, although some flexibility will be required. This will include an element of Bank Holiday cover.
