You will manage the day to day road transport sections and all of the related administration. Manage the day to day bookings of European and UK road transport jobsRaising job files and all appropriate paperworkExtensive client liaison to include quotations, follow up, bookings and problem solvingExtensive supplier liaison to include rate negotiations, bookings and problem solvingInternal liaison with the Sales Team, assisting with quotations and service informationManaging the jobs from start to finish in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issuesMaximising the gross profit by negotiating with the supplier baseProactively contacting the existing clients to maximise business potentialInvoicing jobs on completionPopulating internal analysis and key statistics
The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or operational road/overland freight. You should be commercially aware and able to work well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy of work and have a confident customer service manner.
