c£58-60,000 plus bonus + benefits
An excellent opportunity to join an exciting blue-chip business with an extensive portfolio of well known retail brands to manage and resolve product related customer complaints and issues; with responsibility for the quality of all products within the portfolio, ensuring legal and technical compliance of products.
Ensure your team assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards; testing materials and products.
Review, lead and implement the Company’s Quality Policy in order to ensure that improvement of products, services and the quality system is continuously maintained to provide complete customer satisfaction.
Ensure the processes needed for the Quality Management System are established and maintained.
Manage you team to act as a technical consultant for all areas of the company on Quality and Responsible Sourcing related matters.
Ensure systems are in place for regulatory compliance for all products within group.
Create robust links within the sector and across UK to develop best in class practices and allow transfer of knowledge within the team and across functions as required whilst maintaining the required levels of confidentiality.
Be the reference for all the relevant legislation such as sale of goods act and resolving product related customer concerns or issues.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement
Assessing product specifications and customer requirements (were required)
Manage your team to work with supplier to ensure compliance with national and international standards
Were appropriate consider application of environmental and health and safety standards where appropriate
Set, agree, review and monitor in-house standards
Where and when appropriate bring together colleagues of different disciplines to drive formulate and to agree comprehensive quality procedures.
With your team manage 3rd party provider(s) of technical testing
Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and ensureproduct modifications are investigated if necessary
Where appropriate ensure your team collate and analysing performance data against defined parameters
The ideal candidate will have strong quality management skills within a multi-channel, multi-site complex commercial environment. Knowledge of retailer standards, auditing and writing processes are essential for this opportunity.
