Customs Operator/Clerk

Exciting role to manage the day to day handling of European imports from origin to delivery on behalf of our client’s contract customers.

Receiving inbound EDI manifests from overseas partners and processing into systemContacting partners for missing information in order to process consignments for clearance or deliveryContacting UK importer for instructions and information to facilitate import clearanceEntering consignment into customs clearance system to facilitate clearanceEnsuring the highest standards of customer service and process compliance within the team

The ideal candidate will have a customs background in either road or sea freight and a good knowledge of Excel is desired for this opportunity.
