Create and deliver the Customer Proposition for a major business category, with regard to Product, Pricing and Promotional Strategy, ultimately driving sales, increasing market share and profit.Own and deliver Category Trading plans to deliver the Customer Proposition, thereby driving category growth.Accountability for and drive the implementation of the range within the businessBe accountable for the Price Position of the categoryBe the authority on Product detail, specification and performanceGain and develop market, competitor and product knowledge to influence Category performanceGenerate reports and analyse data to act on/ make recommendations on Range, Pricing, Sales Plans, PromotionsSupport the Category Assistants, in their role as the first line of contact for internal customers and stakeholdersRepresent Category Function at Operational and other Business’ meetings, deputise for Director as necessaryBuild and maintain successful relationships at all levels within the business and with customers
