About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Technical Manager for our client, a leading provider of risk management solutions thought clever use of instrumentation and technology in the UK. This role is based in the North West, with travel required to various office locations and client sites across the region. As a Technical Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of diverse projects, focusing on the specification, design, and implementation of advanced instrumentation and monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Sales Teams in preparing technical proposals and bids by providing initial designs for pricing or reviewing their proposals.
- Support the Delivery team by ensuring installation and testing engineers are thoroughly trained.
- Collaborate with the Software team to resolve issues identified during the installation or operational phases of monitoring systems.
- Provide expert advice to clients based on monitoring data, aiding their understanding and effective use of the information provided.
- Occasionally visit customer sites, delivering exceptional service and representing our client professionally.

About You:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- An Engineering degree and Chartered status or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with structural monitoring systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in Data Acquisition systems and signals.
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot networks, PCs, and DAQs.
- Competence in reading and designing electrical drawings.
- A CSCS Card and BSSM certification.
- A full UK driving licence.
