General Manager - Operations - North Midlands with travel

MVP’s client is a manufacturing business supplying into the financial technology sector.  They are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to manage multiple aspects of the strategic and day to day activities of the business.  Working closely with the Managing Director, and managing a team of people, you will have responsibility for various business functions:


Operations Management

Financial and budget management

HR and People processes

Health & Safety

Site Services



The ideal candidate will be able to provide strong and effective leadership, analyse operational processes and improve levels of efficiency across the company.  You’ll also need the following skills and experience:


  • Previous experience gained within an engineering, manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong academic background and qualifications
  • Previous experience of managing and developing people effectively
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Ability to be a hands-on leader
  • Health & Safety driven, Health & Safety qualifications would be a plus
  • Excellent influencing and coaching abilities to develop the team and the operation
