Exciting and challenging role for an experienced General Manager to run a fast paced, multi-temperature distribution centre, offering services to a large number of customers, including significant national accounts.
As GM of this well established DC, you will lead and inspire your team and develop customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex, fast moving, warehouse and transport operation.
- Manage P&L performance for the site, ensuring maximum efficiency of the operation to reduce waste and improve profit margin
- Build a stable workforce that is engaged and committed and in turn establish a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver best in class operations.
- Manage and develop the site management team, identifying key team members for the future and succession planning for the operation
- Develop and improve Health & Safety performance
