We're proud to be working with an established and expanding Logistics business based in Hemel Hempstead who due to continued growth are seeking to appoint a Finance Director.

 

The role will be working for a successful and well-established privately-owned business who believe in treating customers and employees with respect and recognising their importance as individuals.

 

This is a big role to take over the post from two Interim Finance Directors and needs someone with strong skills to move the business forward.

 

They have ambitious growth plans in place and so this role will need a Qualified and experienced FD from the Logistics sector who is willing to roll their sleeves up and really get to know the business, employees, and customer base.

 

As Finance Director, you will report into the Managing Director and be responsible for three businesses. You will benefit from working with a highly knowledgeable Leadership team who are all highly experienced in the Logistics Industry and are passionate about the company they work for.

 

 
The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified chartered accountant with experience working in the Logistics Sector. You will be happy to travel across sites based in the South of the Country.

 

You will be a strategic thinker who is able to make the tough decisions needed to build a successful business. You will also be systems orientated and technology minded.
