We’re really pleased to be working with this successful organisation to recruit an Account Manager for a brand new customer making a name for itself within the vibrant UK food and drink sector, and with exciting growth plans.
What you’ll do:
? Focal point of contact between the business and the customer
? Monitor and track operational performance
? Report on performance and service quality – SLA adherence and KPI variance
? Work with the operation to track against a continuous improvement plan
? Assess stock levels against customer forecasts; work with the buying team to ensure optimal stock-holding levels and prevent shortages
? Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with key contacts within the client’s business
? Own and deliver on specific client-related projects
? Continuous improvement – identifying and presenting initiatives to improve the customer experience and maximise profit
? Managing the dispute resolution procedure – ensure issues and resolutions are clearly communicated and effectively resolved
? Be responsible for the overall profitability and commercial performance of the client’s account
? Analyse, assess and interpret performance data; provide reporting to clients for use in performance reviews
? Develop and grow revenue, designing strategies

• Effective communication skills – able to convey confidence and build trust
• Strong IT skills / fluency
• Experience of managing projects
• Ideally – knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations
• Commercially-focused – able to identify and convert business opportunities
• Strong information presentation skills – able to use data to provide meaningful insights in a professional manner, and to prepare professional, business-focused reports
• Great people skills and ability to work cross-functionally. You’ll be an effective listener and questioner
• Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience/knowledge of demand planning/forecasting activities will be useful
