An exciting opportunity to join this major retailer in a key phase of their business transformation and mission to become one of the major players in online fulfilment This role will own the detailed design, development and delivery of change initiatives for a major distribution infrastructure including a large site with high level automation, as well as working on future projects within the wider business network. The Development Manager will manage a team of specialist technical/CI/programme specialists and ensure the site and network achieves future growth, capacity and efficiency targets. It will manage concurrent programmes of work whilst assessing the impact on the customer, the operation and colleagues to ensure that the benefits are realised on time and in full are critical to this role. The position supports the company in its fast paced growth targets in order fulfilment by ensuring maximum efficiency within what is already an impressive logistics/distribution infrastructure with continued major developments planned for the future. Although the role has an East Midlands base there is an opportunity for flexible working.
Supply Chain Analyst (Graduate)
Supply Chain Analyst (Graduate-level) – Global Manufacturing Business Milton Keynes Up to £32,000 + benefits MVP’s client, a global manufacturing business, is looking to appoint a graduate-level Supply Chain Analyst into one of its divisions, based in the UK. Working within the global supply chain team, you will support the development, implementation and enhancement of efficient metrics on global inventory management, feeding into effective KPI reporting. Main Accountabilities: Tracking and analyzing process performance within the global supply chain framework Understand and develop business system requirements and support procurement optimization systems Provide ongoing support for local users including root cause analysis of issues, roll out of new functionality and promotion of best practice Develop and review analytical models demonstrating the impact of decisions involving inventory management and control Make recommendations for continuous improvement of inventory management processes and systems Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Education to degree level in fields such as analytics, supply chain/logistics or business administration. Excellent problem-solving skills – you’ll be able to work well with data to assess situations, conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations Some knowledge in Supply Chain processes – eg materials planning, forecasting, inventory management Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPivot, other BI tools Ideally – some experience of SQL, Visual Studio, SAP or other ERP systems Strong team player who enjoys a team environment Eligible to work on an unrestricted basis in the UK and must be willing to work flexibly, as well as be able to travel nationally and internationally if required

Data Quality Analyst – Global Manufacturing Business Milton Keynes Up to £33,000 + benefits Permanent role An excellent opportunity to join a global manufacturing business in a challenging role within a successful division. Working within the global supply chain team, you will work on supporting and developing the quality of data streams used to support business activities, strategy and decision making. Main Accountabilities: Support data issue investigations, engaging with relevant teams to conduct root cause analysis, monitor and report data issues in order to improve data quality across the organisation Identify appropriate data analysis methods to ensure data issues are investigated fully in order to profile, document and understand core data, relationships and data flows Research and gain in-depth understanding of data quality activities and best practice Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to ensure a high level of data quality awareness Undertake analysis of data within multiple systems to develop a base-line and data quality KPIs Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Educated to degree level, in fields such as analytics or business administration A minimum of 1 year’s work experience, together with the ability to apply this knowledge practically to solve complex business problems. Ability to understand business requirements and translate these into technical deliverables Proven experience in data management together with a passion for data-driven value and consistency Strong technical skills – advanced level Excel and able to use SQL to run queries etc Ideally – good working knowledge of BI tools Strong team player who enjoys a team environment Some previous experience of six sigma/lean management principles would be great Multiple language skills would be a benefit
