MVP supports Will Robinson of Rowan International with his Coast to Coast Charity Walk, raising money for Bradford Royal Infirmary Neonatal Unit!

One of MVP’s fantastic clients, Will Robinson of Rowan International Ltd., will be attempting Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Walk with his son, Adam, on 21st May, to raise money for the Neonatal Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary. MVP is proudly supporting Will and Adam, and we wanted to highlight the story of Will’s nephew, Oscar (Ozzy), who was born prematurely at the unit in May 2020, weighing just over a pound (small enough to fit in a pint glass).

He remained in hospital for 3 months and, because of Covid restrictions, mum Cheryl and her husband James weren’t able to stay with Ozzy overnight, so they had to make daily trips to be with him. Thankfully, Ozzy was able to go home just before his actual due date.

Ozzy’s family are immensely grateful to the dedicated teams at the unit and that’s why Will and Adam are walking over 190 miles, from
St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay, to raise money to help build better and bigger facilities for parents and families, so that they can all be with their little miracles 24 hours a day.

Will and Adam are setting off from the Cumbrian coast on 21st May, Ozzy’s first birthday. Hopefully, he will be there to wave them off!
