A medium sized international forwarder with 10+ UK offices and in excess of 150 staff, who, despite the economic climate are well placed and continuing to grow, with the imminent opening of new hubs within the UK. They are known and respected for their established daily services to and from Europe whilst also offering successful air and sea freight services.

Experience Required
My client is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic business development professional who is skilled in the promotion and acquisition of European road freight services. The position would suit an experienced forwarding sales executive who is domiciled in the Yorkshire region. The role will be to further develop the Yorkshire branch with the acquisition of new business, as well as to develop the existing base with the introduction of additional services. The role would have a significant leaning towards Pan European road freight traffic whilst the successful candidate should be sufficiently commercially aware of the air and sea freight operations offered by the business. The successful candidate should have a current knowledge of freight forwarding and have been in a position where business growth has played a large element as well as possessing good operational knowledge of European overland export and import business.
