Project Manager – 4PL
c£30 - 35k + car + bonus
Location: UK – national role

Note: The role will involve extensive travel and nights away from home.

Great chance to join a market-leading logistics and distribution business, in a challenging, varied role. As part of a new 4PL contract for a major customer, they are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to compile, agree and manage roll-out plans at various operating sites. In addition, you’ll be responsible for achieving agreed service levels and financial performance relating to assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and managing business-focussed projects
• Visits to sites – business process mapping, requirements gathering and process re-engineering
• Implementation of 4PL systems internally and on customer sites
• Establishing temporary teams for project execution
• Liaising with Group IT and software suppliers to manage system change requirements
• Developing and managing relationships with customers at all levels
• Providing input to commercial propositions for new and existing customers
• Compiling, agreeing and managing roll-out plans where appropriate

Experience Required
You will have excellent project management skills, with a background in logistics/transport solutions design. You will be extremely process-driven and highly analytical, with previous experience of change-management within the distribution industry. A formal project management qualification is desirable, but is not absolutely essential.
