Finance Director – One year renewable contract Jeddah/Saudi Arabia

Description
Excellent opportunity to join a distribution organisation who distribute many famous multinational brands. This is a senior managerial position based in Jeddah, reporting to the VP of administration and finance, and working very closely with the brands Divisional Manager to grow the business and provide controlled and efficient work environment.

Accountable for the efficiency and controls of the financial operations supporting the Divisional Sales: Order-Shipping-Billing cycle, stock controls, credit control and cash collections, payroll related matters, and all related accounting operations in line with legal and tax requirements.
Planning, budgeting, reporting financial data for the division and ensuring delivery of the financial objectives of the division (profitability, working capital management). The role also includes shared responsibility to develop 5-year strategic plans and annual operating plans.
In charge of the transformation of the divisional Finance team, by recruiting new staff, updating the organization and processes of the finance department to the growing requirements of the business, and leading the development of the team.
In charge of the transformation of the internal controls environment (systems, policies, processes) to ensure strong controls and governance within the division and in all its relationship with other divisions or external parties,
Actively involved in a close relationship with the Principal, able to participate actively to a long-term business partnership with the Principal on all matters impacting the short, medium and long-term development of a joint business.
Member of the Management Team of the Division and member of the Steering Team Meeting set up jointly between the Distributor and the Principal. Able to communicate, contribute and influence beyond the finance function (sales, logistics, HR). Able to promote a customer-oriented approach positioning the Finance department as an effective enabler of sales growth.

Experience Required
The ideal candidate will be of graduate caliber with solid technical experience within a multinational systems in the FMCG industry.
