Our client has a new position for a Supply Chain Executive. This is an interesting and challenging role that requires a confident and professional individual.

Role:

• Manage the internal sales forecast. Produce weekly/monthly variance reports, highlighting key variances.
• Analyse customer weekly sales figures and propose additional new orders to the customer if required.
• Attend customer meetings offsite.
• Input, allocate and release all incoming orders as required
• Liaise with customers on stock and delivery
• Produce all documents to manage importation of stock into the UK (customs clearance)
• Liaise with the warehouse to ensure all deliveries are booked and delivered on time as per the customer's requirements.
• Liaise closely with the Key Account Manager's.
• Produce KPI's both internally and externally to help manage supply chain contractors.
• Manage annual stock take
• Work and assist credit control on payment issues relating to supply chain/pricing
• Update price lists on system
• Issue daily invoicing summary
• Assist in reviewing monthly sales forecast and develop demand plan.
• Place orders and follow up on a weekly basis with overseas office highlighting any delays to senior management.
• Review shipment mode to maximize sales opportunities but also taking costs into account.

Experience Required
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills/experience

• Experience in supply chain planning and retail sector.
• Managerial experience is preferred but not essential.
• Numerical and analytical, with strong excel/PowerPoint skills
• Excellent Customer relations and communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of Lotus notes / sage line 500 would be beneficial but not essential
