Warehouse Improvement Manager – leading retailer – Flexible base, although significant time will need to be spent at key sites in London/Northern Home Counties
c£40-£42k + bonus + benefits + car allowance
MVP’s retail client is currently going through an exciting period of development and has a new role for a Warehouse Improvement Manager who will be accountable for warehouse service performance, identifying and delivering warehouse operational improvements.
The role will involve regular travel as there are a number of sites to visit including 3pl sites and a National Distribution Centre that is based in the Midlands.
Work closely with 3pl partners, asking questions and challenging warehouse performanceAnalysis of warehouse operations including WMS and cost saving opportunitiesInstigate CI projects and operational improvement ideasSupport the implementation of all warehouse projects
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:
Warehousing operations experience.Understanding of warehouse management systemsProject management experience – including lean/CIAble to communicate with a wide range of people/stakeholders, as you may need to provide cover for the Network Warehouse Performance Manager in front of the leadership team.
