Based at their large, fast moving Regional Distribution Centre, the Senior HR Advisor will lead the site HR team, working closely with the General Manager, National HR Manager & the site senior management team. This role is key to improving the overall performance of the Distribution Centre by ensuring that people policies & procedures are followed and that the site operates safely and legally, as well as contributing to the success of HR across the Distribution network.
The successful applicant will:
Lead, develop and coach the onsite HR teamDevelop and implement site and distribution HR policiesCoach the senior management team to improve the performance of managersDevelop and implement a site HR people planEstablish and maintain harmonious trade union and employee relationsSupport the annual pay negotiations
Will be an experienced HR professional, CIPD full or part qualified, with significant experience of working within a unionised environment. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management is a must and experience of implementing and driving change.
This is a site based role with some adhoc travel to other sites within the network.
