Sales Manager/Business Development Manager

Due to expansion within our clients business they are currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to selling renewable technologies into the commercial sector.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Cold calling and appointment based visits
  • Delivery of agreed sales targets and regional objectives
  • Interfacing with key stakeholders including pricing, operations, customer support and marketing
  • To promote and sell products/solutions at the right time for the customer which both meet their needs and also optimise Life Time Value
  • Working effectively with the bid team to produce compelling tender documentation
  • Keeping up to date with current product offerings and associated market intelligence as well as gathering competitor intelligence
  • Contributing to the development of strategies which will enable the channel to achieve short, medium and long term business plans
  • Provide flexibility in working hours in order to incorporate geographical spread of business and meet customer needs, with the requirement that over-night stays may be necessary

The successful candidate will have a proven track record with a willingness to take on the renewables sector with industrial and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have drive, enthusiasm and a strong customer focus.

£30-35,000 dependant on experience + car + uncapped commission
