Drive operational performance in NDC’s and cross dock hubs by focussing on process & efficiency to deliver service and cost reductionDefine and drive a culture of operational excellence across all operationsUse knowledge of CI/lean to ensure 3pl’s are driving performance levels across all operationsLead productivity forum with 3PL’sWrite and validate business cases for Continuous Improvement initiatives as requiredProduce and maintain Cap-ex investment planProvide project workstream leadership for key step change initiatives.Own site capacities / capabilities ensuring any constraints are fully understoodOwn detailed site performance dataOwn Business Continuity for UK Warehouse Operations
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:
Warehousing operations (Transport operations also a benefit)3PL / In house Logistics OperationsContract managementContinuous improvement/ Lean/ 6 Sigma
Solid operational experience and ability to use a wide range of tools to promote change within a 3PL environment.
