Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual who would take responsibility for the management of high profile national account contracts. It is expected that the individual’s portfolio will continue to grow as additional business comes on-line.
Based out of a fast moving distribution centre environment, the ideal candidate will be required to take on full responsibility and ownership of the customer relationship, ensuring additional sales opportunities and maximising profit potential, in addition to providing a first-class account management service to the customer portfolio.
You will take responsibility for the data accuracy and integrity of supplier / product / customer data and assist the National Account Controller in generating incremental sales / profit for their account portfolio.
As part of the broader role and responsibilities, there would be an ongoing requirement to work closely with the National Account Controller to develop and secure new business opportunities
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
Requirement to work with the account administration team to perform administrative account support functions. Need to work closely with supply chain, customer service and logistics teams in respect of forecast demand, service availability, customer service excellence and logistic efficiency.Detailed analytical performance evaluations and reviews will be required and therefore proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is essential.Excellent communication skills, developed through previous experience of dealing directly with multi-site national account customers, are highly desirable.Experience in sales development, range / data analysis and presentation to senior management personnel would also be beneficial for this role.
