The Role: Management of a team within a BRC-accredited warehouse environment, ensuring stock accuracy and control whilst reviewing operational capacity against customer forecasts.
Develop documented routines to ensure stock accuracy.Ensure stock accuracy, traceability and compliance to BRC standards.Develop and maintain key relationships with both internal and external customers.Ensure accurate and timely information and process flows.Lead and Develop the stock control team to ensure all targets are achieved in an efficient and timely manner.Work as part of the senior site team to proactively identify, recommend and implement improvements to the ways of working.Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times.Configure the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure effective receipt, storage, rework, despatch of products throughout the operationReview Forecasts vs Planning accuracy across the sites.Accountable for attaining BRC certification for SBSC.Conduct monthly auditing to ensure appropriate activities are maintaining standards and focused on continuous improvement.
You will need the following skills/experience:
Experience of dealing with high volume stock transactions in a warehouse/DC environmentExperience of WMS systems to control stock (preferably Manhattan)Thorough understanding of stock control principles and processes and past experience within a similar or relevant rolePrevious experience of people management – excellent leadership abilitiesContinuous Improvement focusHealth & Safety-focusedHigh level of PC Literacy; Excel, Word and knowledge of warehouse management systemsHighly customer focused with an analytical and systematic approach to problem solvingPrevious experience of implementing new inventory processes/procedures
