Finance Administrator/Credit Controller – part time
Job Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Finance Administrator/Credit Controller to join the finance team of our client located in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy service focused department, where hard work and consistent performance are important. Communication, attention to detail and the ability to report data accurately and deliver within strict deadlines are integral to this function. You will be confident in communicating at all levels, and have the skills to deal with situations professionally and with diplomacy. To be successful in this role, it is important that you enjoy interacting with people and have the ability to build up a strong rapport with clients and internal staff.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ambition and drive necessary to make difference to our organisation. We want you to be a team player, and require you to have the competencies to work without direction where necessary.
The competencies required by the jobholder should include the ability to:
Close service jobs and raising subsequent invoices, in liaison with our customer service team
Post invoices and cash to the sales ledger
Chase debt using appropriate means, resolving any queries internally
Meeting targets on debtor days
Ability to work with and accept workplace change in order to improve departmental efficiency and function
